SWOT Analysis

DIFFICULTY

IMPLEMENTATION

  1. Prepare the Framework: Set up a four-quadrant chart labeled Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.

  2. Gather the Team: Bring together team members from various departments to ensure a comprehensive analysis.

  3. Brainstorm Sessions: Conduct brainstorming sessions for each quadrant:

Strengths: Discuss what advantages the team or project has internally.
Weaknesses: Identify internal areas that need improvement.
Opportunities: Explore external chances for expansion, success, or profit.
Threats: Consider external challenges that could pose risks to the project.

  1. Document and Analyze: Record all points and critically analyze how each could impact the project’s goals.

  2. Develop Strategies: Based on the analysis, develop strategies that maximize strengths and opportunities, minimize weaknesses and threats, and adjust project plans accordingly.
